I have been a therapeutic spoken word poet & holistic creative writer inputting mindfulness as a habitual practice for 6yrs. My sessions are essentially for anyone looking to be part of an experience that implements self-healing, mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy etc. Various of my sessions consist of effective writing strategies and therapeutic exercises to hear or write accordingly; aiming to stimulate inner-peace as well as emotional stability through stories/ individual tasks set.
My service entails a divine therapeutic atmosphere for comfortability, space, privacy and calmness. I constantly write meaningful poetry to impact people and run workshops where i tend to facilitate discussion around performance. Every morning I aim to meditate and practice mindfulness to kick start my day. I studied performance and media at university and performing Arts at college so I know how to be expressive, creative as well energetic to allow anyone around me to feel that same healthy uplifting feeling.
Last year I attend a mindfulness living show as press, this was a great opportunity for me to connect with specialists who offer retreats, training programs and workshops to gain knowledge and grow deeper, meaningful relationships with likeminded people. Which I’ll be going to as regularly as I can as it’s a good way for therapists to grow and learn.
I have worked alongside DriveForward’s vulnerable care leavers who have faced several emotional & mental difficulties from family crisis, social conflicts and stress. I have also worked with an organisation named Ferring Country Centre- which deals with young people & Adults who have learning disabilities. My sessions focused on them building self-confidence and being aware of self-care and suggestions on what self-care routines can work for them individually.
I have obtained both my qualifications online, however I don’t want to stop there as I know there’s many more professional bodies and further development to advance to. Please see both my certificates attached.
