I have found from my own experience that many of our emotional problems are rooted in loss: of our innocence, childhood and dreams as well as loved ones, relationships and missed opportunities. Sometimes we can get stuck in unresolved grief because it feels too painful or traumatic to remember. But through remembering and allowing the feelings to be released, we can begin to mourn and move on.
I believe we have an innate capacity to discover what makes us tick. Through curiosity, courage and persistence we can learn to understand our motivations and realise the possibility of change. I am also aware that the potential for change can be impacted by social, political and economic structures outside of our individual control. However, with therapeutic support you can learn to be more effective in your life.
So, if you’re looking for someone who will take the time to listen and try to understand where you are, I offer warmth, empathy and a safe and supportive space for you to explore whatever you want or need to better understand your experience and make changes in your life.
