Phyllis Smith

I am a BACP counsellor specialising in anxiety, depression, stress and cross-cultural issues and Christian counselling. I can speak fluent English and Chinese. Sometimes we have difficult relationship with our friends and families; or we are at a crossroad of our lives struggling to make good decisions; or we are struggling with the conflicts between where we are brought up and where we are now. Whatever the reason, people come to counselling to be listened to, find practical ways to improve their lives and seek understanding of where they are at and what they want for their lives. I will be your counsellor to facilitate that.

As a non-judgemental and empathetic counsellor, I provide the space and freedom for my clients to share what they want to share, to be themselves and to become whom they aspire to be. I am interested to work with people who are suffering from anxiety, depression and stress and those who are struggling to make adjustments due to their cultural background.

Life is not always rosy and we all struggle at different times of our lives. Sharing with someone who are keen to listen and help can be the first step to feeling better of yourself and managing better of the situation. I might not be able to resolve all your issues but I am committed to walk on this bumpy and difficult journey alongside you.
