I am a qualified Integrative counsellor with a Humanistic approach.
As individuals, on our own personal journeys, we all have different ways of coping with our emotional struggles in life. Sometimes we have support from others, and other times we have no one to turn to.
We occasionally get through the hard times by isolating ourselves through fear, overwhelm or sadness. In life we have choices to make and different paths to follow, in real life things go wrong and we lose ourselves in the business and responsibilities of everyday life. Events can unfold rapidly and we sometimes find ourselves being unable to cope or reach out, some days we feel that we have just had enough.
I believe that seeking an appropriate and caring counsellor can be supportive in giving you a safe, confidential space to be heard. We can look at different tools to help you through the tough days and coping strategies to explore overwhelming or confusing feelings and emotions.
I will respectfully work alongside you, at a pace that is comfortable to you. Together we can explore issues (big or small) to improve your quality of life and help you to feel more fulfilled. We can look at different skills and methods that are suitable to you on assessment and discuss how you would like to move forward with the sessions. We can work long term or short term to suit your needs. I can work 1:1 or with couples, 18 years or older.
