I am in integrative counsellor using whatever theory suits each individual client/clients. I have had my private practice for almost six years and work close to the town centre in Ashford on Weds Thursdays and Saturdays. Over the last 30 years I have volunteered in many people focused agencies including Citizens Advice, Disability Advice and Victim Support. Currently I am a volunteer counsellor at the Pilgrims Hospice, working with carers, bereaved families and patients.
I qualified as a counsellor in 2014 and hold a Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling. I also have a BACP Certificate of Registration awarded in 2015.
I hold a Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Professional Supervision awarded in 2016.
As already mentioned over the last 30 years I have volunteered with person focused agencies, working in areas of crime related traumatic client work with Victim Support and as a Telephone Advisor I worked with Citizens Advice assisting the public with anything from benefit related enquiries to marital related issues.
I decided to study to become a counsellor in 2009 as my children were by then more independent and I had more space and time to undergo the training.
I have included my availability.
£50 for counselling per £50 minutes session.
£60 for Couple work and Family Therapy
£60 per 90 minutes Supervision
