I am a BACP registered counsellor (register number 333403) offering professional counselling to adult clients. I have experience in working with a wide range of issues, although I am particularly passionate about working with clients who have experienced trauma or abuse, dissociation, have a personality disorder, or who are experiencing suicidal feelings, thoughts, or impulses. I have had specific training in using the CAMS (Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality) Framework to work with clients to manage, explore, and understand these thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
My training (BA degree) is in integrative counselling, which means I have experience of working in a variety of ways with clients, from traditional talking therapy to more creative ways of exploring issues. I place a strong emphasis in the way I work on the therapeutic relationship, as this provides the safety for the work we do together.
It can be hard to take the first steps and reach out to ask for help, but be assured I will always endeavour to go at a pace that is comfortable for you. Feel free to send me an email, text or call to discuss how we could work together, without obligation. Remember: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – Lao Tzu
