Based in central Chichester, I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor (BA Honors Degree), a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and a qualified Couples Counsellor.
Trusting, trustworthy and accepting, I specialise in the Person-Centred approach, developed from the work of the psychologist Dr Carl Rogers, which concentrates on the individual’s self-worth and values. This approach does not use techniques; it relies on the personal skills of the therapist to build a non-judgemental and empathetic relationship. My objective is always to work with my clients, guiding them end ancouraging them to discover their full potential, and subsequently to achieving it. Helping clients to make sense of their situation, I also draw on a range of modalities to best suit the needs of each client.
I run my own private practice and also work as a volunteer counsellor for the NHS and The University of Chichester. I offer long and short-term counselling and can accommodate both English and Spanish speakers.
Enabling you to overcome difficulties, counselling provides a safe and reassuring environment in which express and explore your thoughts and feelings. Offering counselling across a range of issues, my role is to listen, support and ultimately guide you towards greater personal fulfilment.
