Primary Location

Dina’s approach to therapy is an integrative one, which means that she draws on a range of knowledge and skills from different established theoretical backgrounds like Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Person Centred Therapy, DBT and Mindfulness. Most important however is that she works in an empowering way that is most suited to every client and that she offers a warm, open, non-judgmental and supportive space where you can be yourself. Her aim is to help you to increase an understanding of your difficulties, to promote growth and to help you to make necessary changes so that you can move forward and build a more satisfying and happier life.

Dina has a background in social anthropology and worked in a wide range of settings like project management, hospitality, administration, as a counsellor in her church community and as bereavement counsellor. Her passion is to support people to unfold their full potential and she has considerable experience working with clients who seek help for a variety of emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, panic disorders, family and relational issues, abuse, trauma, loss, low self-esteem and self- worth.

Training, Qualifications and Experience

Dina is an integrative psychotherapist, holds an M.A. in Social Anthropology, a diploma in integrative psychodynamic counselling and a MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. She is a registered member of BACP and she gained in addition to her private practice  extensive experience in working at Cruse Bereavement Care, NHS short term therapy, a psychiatric placement at Middlesex Hospital, working as a honorary therapist at the Metanoia Institute, The Awareness Centre and as assessor at Ealing Abbey. She is experienced with clients from all walks of life and a wide range of different issues.
