I’ve held various roles offering assistance to people suffering from difficulty or distress in their lives. I have experience as a practitioner, manager and supervisor across NHS, not-for-profit and private sector provision of therapy services.
My previous roles have included managing the counselling service that provided talking therapies across GP surgeries in a London Primary Care Trust. Before my practice as a psychotherapist, I was involved in work dealing with domestic violence, family and welfare issues.
I originally trained to be a solicitor and my specialism in workplace issues is informed by my legal experience in the commercial sector, which has included roles in a city law firm and a large plc.
UKCP registered psychotherapist following a psychoanalytic training at The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis.
BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor following four years of training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute.
Post-Graduate Diploma in the Psychodynamics of Human Development offered by The British Psychotherapy Foundation.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Supervision offered by The Minster Centre.
Full 4-Part EMDR training with EMDR Extra and membership of the EMDR Association UK and Ireland.
I work afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday.
I see clients weekly or twice weekly and my fee is £70 per 50-minute session. A lower fee is possible for clients who would like to attend sessions twice-a-week.
I’m a registered provider with all the main private medical insurers. If your policy covers psychotherapy sessions, I’d be happy to discuss the referral process when we first speak and, if you’d prefer, also contact your insurer to confirm the details of your referral.
